Product Description
Introduction to Rebar
Rebar is a steel bar with ribs on the surface, also known as ribbed steel bar, usually with two longitudinal ribs and transverse ribs evenly distributed along the length direction.
The shape of the transverse ribs is spiral, herringbone, and crescent. It is expressed in millimeters of nominal diameter.
The nominal diameter of ribbed steel bars is equivalent to the nominal diameter of plain round steel bars with equal cross-sections.
The nominal diameter of steel bars is 8-50 mm, and the recommended diameters are 8, 12, 16, 20, 25, 32, and 40 mm. Ribbed steel bars mainly bear tensile stress in concrete.
Due to the effect of ribs, ribbed steel bars have greater bonding ability with concrete, so they can better withstand the effects of external forces.
Ribbed steel bars are widely used in various building structures, especially large, heavy, light thin-walled and high-rise building structures.
Walking Beam Heating Furnace → Roughing Mill → Intermediate Rolling Mill → Finishing Mill → Water Cooling Device →
Cooling Bed → Cold Shear → Automatic Counting Device → Baling Machine → Unloading Platform
Rebar is widely used in civil engineering construction such as houses, bridges, and roads.
From large public facilities such as highways, railways, bridges, culverts, tunnels, flood control, dams, to small foundations, beams, columns,
walls and slabs of building structures, rebar is an indispensable structural material.

Pre-Shipment Inspection
1. Performance testing:
Including tensile test (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation), bending test (single bending and reverse bending).
After bending 180 degrees according to the specified bending core diameter, no cracks shall be generated on the surface of the steel bar where it is bent.
The bending core diameter of the reverse bending test is one steel bar diameter larger than that of the bending test.
First bend 90 degrees forward, then bend 20 degrees reversely. After the reverse bending test, no cracks shall be generated on the surface of the steel bar where it is bent.
2. Specification inspection:
Including standard grades, nominal diameter of steel bars, nominal weight, specified length and tolerance value.
3. Appearance inspection:
The ends should be cut straight, and there should be no cracks, scars or folds on the surface, and no defects that are harmful to use.
Factory
● The quality of the finished product of threaded steel bars varies with the process of metallurgical smelting furnaces and hot rolling batches.
● Threaded steel bars are generally delivered in bare bundles. When stored, attention should be paid to moisture-proofing.
Rust will have an adverse effect on the performance of threaded steel bars.
