Hot Rolled Carbon Steel Coil Plate

The plate that has been hot rolled and has not been flattened by the flattening machine is called hot coil plate. Hot-rolled coils are made from slabs (mainly continuous cast billets). After heating, they are made into strips by rough rolling units and finishing rolling units. The hot steel strips coming out of the last rolling mill of finishing rolling are cooled by laminar flow. After reaching the set temperature, the coiler is rolled into a steel strip coil. The cooled steel strip coil passes through different finishing operation lines (flattening, straightening, cross-cutting or slitting, inspection, weighing) according to the different needs of the user. (heavy, packaging and marking, etc.) are processed into steel plates, flat coils and slit steel strip products.

Because hot-rolled steel coil products have excellent properties such as high strength, good toughness, easy processing and shaping, and good weldability, they are widely used in manufacturing industries such as ships, automobiles, bridges, construction, machinery, and pressure vessels.

With the increasing maturity of new control technologies such as hot-rolled dimensional accuracy, plate shape, and surface quality, hot-rolled steel plates and steel strip products have become more and more widely used and become increasingly competitive in the market.

Hot Rolled Pickled And Oiled Coil Plate

Pickled coils are made of high-quality hot-rolled sheets as raw materials. After the pickling unit removes the oxide layer, trims and finishes, the surface quality and usage requirements (mainly cold bending or stamping performance) are between those of hot-rolled sheets and cold-rolled sheets. The intermediate product between rolled plates is an ideal substitute for some hot-rolled plates and cold-rolled plates.

Compared with hot-rolled plates, the main advantages of pickled plates are:

1. The surface quality is good. Since the hot-rolled pickled plate removes the surface iron scale, it improves the surface quality of the steel and facilitates welding, oiling and painting.

2. The dimensional accuracy is high. After flattening, the plate shape can be changed to a certain extent, thereby reducing the unevenness deviation.

3. Improve the surface finish and enhance the appearance effect.

4. It can reduce environmental pollution caused by users’ scattered pickling. Compared with cold-rolled plates, the advantage of pickled plates is that it allows users to effectively reduce procurement costs while ensuring surface quality and usage requirements.

Pickled plate is a product with a relatively high performance-price ratio between cold-rolled plate and hot-rolled plate, and has good market development prospects.

Cold Rolled Carbon Steel Coil

It refers to a steel strip that is directly rolled into a certain thickness by rollers at normal temperature and rolled into a complete roll by a winder. Compared with hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled coils have a bright surface and high smoothness, but will produce more internal stress and are often annealed after cold rolling.

Galvanized Steel Coil

Galvanized coil, a thin steel plate is immersed in a molten zinc bath so that a layer of zinc adheres to the surface. It is mainly produced by the continuous galvanizing process, that is, the rolled steel plate is continuously immersed in a plating bath containing molten zinc to make galvanized steel plate; alloyed galvanized steel plate. This kind of steel plate is also made by the hot dip method, but it is heated to about 500°C immediately after coming out of the tank to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This kind of galvanized coil has good paint adhesion and weldability.

Galvalume Steel Coil

The surface coating of galvalume plate is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and a small amount of other elements. Microscopically, the surface of galvanized zinc coating has a honeycomb structure, and the "honeycomb" composed of aluminum contains zinc. In this case, although the galvanized coating also plays the role of anode protection, on the one hand due to the reduction in zinc content and on the other hand because the zinc material is wrapped in aluminum and is not easily electrolyzed, the role of anode protection is greatly reduced. Therefore, once aluminized When a zinc plate is cut, it will rust quickly when the cut edges are basically unprotected. Therefore, the galvanized plate should be cut as little as possible. Once cut, anti-rust paint or zinc-rich paint should be used to protect the edge before it can be used. The service life of the panels is extended.

Color Coated Steel Coil 

Color-coated coils use hot-dip galvanized sheets, hot-dip galvanized sheets, electro-galvanized sheets, etc. as substrates. After surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), one or several layers of organic coatings are coated on the surface, and then A product that is baked and solidified. Colored steel coils are named after being coated with organic coatings of various colors, referred to as color-coated coils.
