Galvanized Steel Sheet
Galvanized steel sheets are coated with a layer of metallic zinc on the surface to prevent corrosion on the surface of the steel sheets and to extend their service life. This zinc-coated thin steel sheet is called a galvanized sheet. Galvanized sheets use carbon steel sheets as the base plate, and the base plate material has an important impact on its performance and application fields.
There are two common galvanized steel sheets:
● Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Plate
● Electro Galvanized Steel Plate
Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet (SGCC) has one advantage over electro-galvanized steel sheet (SECC). SECC is very easy to rust in bends and sections, while SGCC has much better rust resistance under the same conditions. High-quality chassis usually use SECC or SGCC galvanized steel plates. The chassis steel plates made of this material are bright in color and have a metallic luster. The advantage of this steel plate is that it has good corrosion resistance.
Electro-galvanized steel plate (SECC): uniform gray, mainly imported, resistant to fingerprints, has excellent corrosion resistance, and maintains the processability of cold-rolled plates. Usage: Home appliances, computer case casings and some door panels and panels.
The production process of hot galvanizing is as follows:
Mother Material → Degreasing → Water Washing → Pickling → Water Washing → Rinsing → Flux Solution → Drying → Hot Galvanizing → Cooling → Inspection → Packaging

How to Choose Galvanized Sheet
The requirements for high-quality galvanized sheets include specifications, surface, galvanizing amount, chemical composition, plate shape, machine function and packaging. oubo Steel Group will conduct comprehensive inspections of the goods before shipment. 2. Standard Sizes
The thickness, length and width of galvanized sheet coils are listed before packaging.
3. Surface
Due to the coating process and other surfaces of galvanized sheets, such as ordinary zinc flowers, fine zinc flowers, flat zinc flowers, no zinc flowers and phosphating treatment, etc. Galvanized sheets and galvanized coils cut to fixed lengths must not have shortcomings that affect their use.
4. Galvanizing Amount
The thickness of the zinc layer will be tested before the galvanized sheets leave the factory. There are two types: the same amount of galvanizing on both sides (i.e. equal thickness galvanizing) and the unequal amount of galvanizing on both sides (i.e. differential thickness galvanizing). The unit of galvanizing amount is g/m2.
5. Machine Function
(1) Mechanical experiment: Tensile strength test, yield strength test and impact test will be carried out on galvanized sheet coils.
(2) Bending test: It is required that after the galvanized plate is bent 180o, the zinc layer on the outer coating shall not leave, and the base of the plate shall not have cracks or breaks.
6. Chemical Composition
The requirements for the chemical composition of galvanized substrates are required to comply with the grade standards of the substrates.
7. Plate Shape
The flatness of the board is within the range required and specified by the customer.
